Cobra Cafe

PSQT has been working in partnership with Cobra Café, the acoustic flute and guitar original fusion music duo.

Hannah Sofaer noticed the duo playing in 2023, a few months before they released their first album and invited them to perform an album launch concert at the Drill Hall. The event was a success, and since then, they have worked together on several projects.

For the Heritage Open Days In September 2024, they created a video and live music performance to raise awareness about PSQT’s Walk through Time outdoor project that aims to link geology, heritage, ecology, art and architecture, and where every footstep will represent a million years.

In 2025, the project was further developed, with an educational dimension added to it: three guitar students from the local secondary school, Atlantic Academy, were involved in the performance. The performances were supported by PSQT with funding from Historic England and Everyday Heritage.
