PSQT Collaboration with architect and community on designs for safe caving and climbing features

White Design produced drawings for outdoor education features, in consultation with Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre and PSQT. Safely constructed caving, climbing orienteering, maze and labyrinth features were considered using pre-cast pipe-work, constructed walls using waste stone and routes directed by a constructed landform.

Study Spaces and Shelters
Ideas were investigated for study spaces and shelters based on casts of fossils and stone summits for the interpretation of geology. This included the potential to embed moulds from fossils such as ammonites into form work that could then be filled with rammed stone dust or a poured mixture of 'Limecrete' (a mixture of non hydraulic lime, stone dust, quarry fines and small diameter aggregate).
